StrongStart Preschools 

Richmond has 5 elementary schools that offer the free StrongStart early learning program: Walter Lee, Grauer, McNeely, Thompson and Woodward.  A great space for young children to learn with lots of toys and books and a place to connect with other children under 5 years of age.

Indoor and outdoor activities 

Many different programs are offered for young children at 8660 Ash Street, such as Play and Learn drop-in. The program is also offered at Hamilton and City Centre community centres. Outdoor programs are held at King George Park and Paulik Park.

A program for immigrant families raising a child under 5 and experiencing stress and isolation. You will be matched with a volunteer who can offer support and help.

ESL Cooking for Immigrant Moms with Young Children

Connect and cook together! 10 week session allow time to practice your language skills as well as your culinary ones.

Early Years Refugee Program

Find safe and supportive community connections to help you adjust to life in Canada.
